It is compatible with older Java applets and offers a kiosk mode that prevents configuration interventions by end users. Additionally, it supports http URLs, Remote Desktop with VNC® Connect, and the Real-Time Streaming Protocol. The combination with Chromium and a MicroBrowser also makes it compatible with CODESYS V2.3, Phoenix Webvisit, SAIA S-Web-Editor, Samson, and many other applets.
The WebPanel from Bachofen is available in two versions: Series 1 and Series 2, which primarily differ in frame design. It comes in display sizes ranging from 10.1” to 23.8” and in four screen formats: 4:3, 5:4, 16:9, and 16:10. These are available either with or without a touchscreen. The frame can be customized with the logo of the machine or plant manufacturer.

For intuitive operation, the Panel-PC from Bachofen comes with either a projected capacitive (PCAP) or resistive touch display. A non-touch version is available for applications where touch functionality is not required. For connection to a network, this IPC is equipped with interfaces such as GB-Ethernet and WiFi. Flexibility is also key when it comes to operating systems: The Panel-PC from Bachofen is compatible with all common operating systems, including Windows IoT, Linux, Linux Ubuntu or Linux Debian.
With Series 1 and 2, Bachofen covers a wide range of applications. Both series are further divided into two performance classes – Basic and Performance – which expand the offering even more.
