Being able to measure the moisture content in bulk materials during operation minimises tedious laboratory measurements and enables immediate dynamic control and regulation of the moisture content. For our customers this means increased efficiency in throughput times or downtimes, and an increase in the quality of the end product.
Liebherr’s sensors for moisture and water content measurement applications are characterised by the following features:
- Accurate and reproducible moisture measurement in bulk materials, powders, granulates, feed, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and much more
- Extremely robust sensor design
- Sensor head partly made of zirconia ceramic for best wear protection
- Measuring range 0 ... 100% water content with an accuracy of up to 0.05%
- Different calibration curves for each application and product are teachable via software
- ATEX/IECEx approval for dust and gas up to zone 0/20
